Meinl HAMSTER
Since autumn 2000 the effective successor of
the well-known Meinl Trac is the model Meinl
Hamster, available as a diesel and a gasoline
version. As compared to the Meinl Mops this
model universally consists of steel with an engine
performance of 16HP or 20 HP respectively. From 2002
onwards we have been using drives equipped with
plain coil chains of 230 mm width in order to further
reduce ground pressure. Currently the weight comes
up to only 150 g/qcm.
Besides the compacting tool there are other simple
extension tools for ripping, slashing or ventilating the
ground. All of them can be mounted without using
any additional instruments within one minute.
In addition to our series production we also build individual
caterpillar dumpers according to your wishes: without
loading apparatus, with various extensions and
mountings or with different engine performances. One
example of this modular construction system is our model
Meinl Mule, offering 26 HP at an actual load of 2000 kg
and a vehicle width of only 88 cm.

Meinl ANT
Meinl Ant is the first caterpillar dumper worldwide, which
is driven by batteries as an electro-hydraulic system.
Meinl Ant is, of course, very industrious, can transport
its load for 5 km without using any fuel, while causing
no noise and, naturally, no exhausts!
Meinl Ant, therefore, pays no taxes and is hardly
causing any operating costs for years. Recharging the
machine from a power outlet over a few hours is usually
gladly taken care of by your client.
Here the most important facts:
Load capacity: 1.000 kg
Vehicle width: 98 cm
Ground clearance above 23 cm
Trough content: 460 l
Engine power: 15 kW
Using Meinl Ant, you can almost forget about fuel prices.
Just test it and give us a ring or send an email1

The dumpers are equipped with
control panel, automatic foot
board, protected container base,
Meinl caterpillar chains and uni-
form painting.
As a small high-tech building
machine the Mops fulfils all the
user's requirements. The chassis
consists of steel, the body is made
of tough AIMg alloy. The cater-
pillar chains cannot be over-
stretched and can even be repai-
red. All drives are fully hydrostatic
and two-step controlled. A silent
and water cooled two-cylinder
engine powers the Mops.
The loading capacity holds a
maximum of 600 litres at a total
weight of 1.000 kg. At a width of
only 84 cm the Mops drives
through doors, over stairs, into
underground car parks, onto flat
roofs and even on turf. Equipped
with an additional grader it can
level soil, sand and gravel up to
a breadth of 150 cm.
The self-loading Meinl dumpers:
What can they do?
Where can they be used?
How do they work?
They load, transport, unload, com-
pact and level gravel, sand and soil
They lift up turf, load it and store it
They redesign gardens and terraces
They empty and refill sandpits
They unload and load lorries over
ramps
They transport boulders, small
machines and trees with their roots
in their shovel
They transport soil onto under-
ground car parks and compact it
They cover flat roofs
They excavate garden pools
They transport material for the
building of swimming pools and
ponds
They build up areas and hills
They transport material through
garden portals, garages, doors,
over steps, over slopes, from cel-
lars and excavation holes and onto
flat roofs
They take up and transport interior
demolition rubble
They transport electric aggregates,
drillers, shredders,...
They sweep snow, load transport
and unload it, even under conditi-
ons where ordinary snow ploughs
will not function anymore (as in
February and March 1999)
They transport materials off the
road and soft grounds
They clean up after catastrophies,
floods, oil soiled beaches etc.
They move material over sensitive
turf and over steep slopes
They operate in tree nurseries and
cemeteries
They clean accessible sewage
canals
They excavate small paring sec-
tions, clear off the material, fetch
gravel, compact and level it
They move material in ship hulls
and dry docks
And many more...
